The first day of school was September 16. Eddie took off the morning to see the kids off to school. We walked them up to the bus station and waited for the bus with them. As soon as it came Eddie and I rushed over to Highcroft to go to the Boo Hoo Breakfast. This was a breakfast just for the mom and dads of the Kindergarteners starting to school. We met some new parents and talked to some parents that we saw at the pool this summer.

Paige and Shane had a great first day. The only complaint that Paige had was that the bus driver wouldn’t let her sit by Shane. We cleared that up really fast and now they both sit together in the first seat!

I have a busy year ahead of me. I volunteered for the Help Team – helping teachers with projects like laminating, etc. I also volunteered to be the head room mom for Shane’s classroom and a room parent for Paige’s class room. I will be very involved in planning their parties and hopefully, being at a few of them!
